I posted this to hopefully help users get through the sign up process.
1) Fill in the form. Choose and online alias or nickname which can be your own name or something else (eg. a character from your favourite movie or tv show). The level of anonymity depends on you. The boxes marked with an asterisk denote values that are required. Your email is needed to complete registration. This must be a valid address because you need to confirm registration.
2) After you click "submit" you should receive an email shortly asking for you to click a link which will confirm registration and activate your user account.
3) When you go back to the forum page, click on your nickname at the top of the screen and fill in the rest of your profile. You can add whether or not you want an avatar, which is a picture which gets put beside your posts. This is just to personalize your profile. As you will notice you can choose an image from a library of images, or you can select an image from a website. Please make sure the picture is at most 100 by 100 pixels in dimensions. If you have a picture that you really like but it is too big than feel free to email me the picture at: and I can cut it down and post it on the web so that you can use it. A signature is a text message that again personalizes your forum profile. It often is a famous quote that you like.
That's about it. Now you can start posting! When you want to reply to a topic just click the "Reply " button on top of the thread. A post box will come up where you can type in your message. Feel free to add emoticons which are below the message box. These help add emotion to text messages. In the emoticon box below the post you can click on a graphic and it will show up in your post. To get more emoticons just click "more >>". This time you have to write the characteristic instead of clicking (eg: write "please" with two colons (:) around it to get to get the graphic). Sorry about this but this program is quite limited in some respects. Note you cannot reply to a closed topic.
Unfortunely, non-administrative users cannot edit messages at the present time. I will fix this soon as I put up another forum program with more options such as editting posts. So please be careful with what you say. If you really don't want to keep the post send me an email and I will delete it or edit it for you.
